It’s time! The long wait for Elio is finally ending. Pixar’s movie was first announced at D23 in 2022, and was originally scheduled to be released on March 1, 2024. Due to issues like the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, changes in leadership, and other ongoing projects at Pixar, the premiere was delayed to June 13, 2025. In February, there was another change: the release was pushed back by one week to avoid competition with How to Train Your Dragon (2025). But Elio fans are undeterred — after waiting patiently for the film, they’re now more than ready to follow Earth’s ambassador into the stars. I must say, it's nice to finally see an original Pixar movie! Will you be watching? Check out some release dates around the world!
